OUR MISSION

ECLIPSE IS DEDICATED TO THE EDUCATION AND SUPPORT OF THOSE IN OUR COMMUNITY WHO SUFFER FROM DEPRESSION OR MANIC DEPRESSION, AND FOR THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS.

WE AIM TO CREATE A SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT THAT FOSTERS UNDERSTANDING OF DEPRESSION AND MANIC DEPRESSION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE COPING SKILLS OF OUR MEMBERS.

ECLIPSE THROUGH IT'S LOGO AND ACTIVITIES REPRESENTS HOPE WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. IN ALL THAT WE DO, WE STRIVE FOR CONTINUOUS AND NEVER-ENDING IMPROVEMENT IN THE HEALTH OF OUR MEMBERS.
 

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:

1. To provide structured group support for afflicted adults, afflicted teenagers, and for their family members and friends. 
2. To provide effective education and training for our members through monthly meetings. 
3. To constantly strive to improve the programs quality through: 
• the use of effective speakers and facilitators for each of the sessions. 
• the use of funding for maintenance and development of the group. 
4. To hold meetings at least once per month with the support of the Canadian Mental Health Association, Brant County Branch. 
5. To provide training opportunities for those members who desire it through access to available resources.
